Jan. 23, 2015 – LAS VEGAS – USFloors’ patent application for the COREtec line of products has been approved by the U.S. Patent and Trade Office (USPTO). The patent gives USFloors intellectual property rights to the products introduced and being developed in the company’s popular COREtec Plus LVT products including COREtec Plus®, COREtec Plus XL®, COREtec One®, COREtec Plus HD®, SMARTCORE®, Innova®, Fusion Hybrid Floors, Vision Hybrid Floors, as well as any other products to be developed in the future. Beaulieu of America’s Bliss COREtec One® introduced at Surfaces 2015, also falls within USFloors intellectual property rights as an authorized distribution partner.
USFloors President and CEO, Piet Dossche, was happy that the USPTO saw fit to recognize COREtec as an invention of the company. “We are extremely excited with the patent status granted by the USPTO and it validates the innovation and invention that we have brought to the flooring industry with COREtec®. We have an enormous investment of time, money, and resources in the product development and patent application for COREtec® and we have been confident throughout the 3-4 years.”
